I just arrived back in sunny Los Angeles!! A year ago, I received a very special phone call from Luis Pacheco. I connected with him immediately as we really identified with each other about the way we feel about hair. He invited me to come to a country I had never been to before to work in his salon, Hair On The Avenue in Toronto. I have to say that I was completely blown away after meeting the voice on the phone!! I was so touched that someone I didn't know was so accommodating and generous to me and my team. This is a first for my blog, but feel that I can't express in any other way how touched I am by Luis' generous nature and his hospitality. I want to introduce you all and tell you who Luis Pacheco is. Luis has been doing hair for many years and is known for his signature blonde. He is owner of Hair On The Avenue and has an impressive celebrity clientele, but since Luis is so humble, I had to find out about this through my own research. Reading about his accomplishments put a smile on my face -- he is so low key in person. His salon is in the chic Yorkville district in Toronto, hugged by brick buildings and trees. Being there was so cozy and his staff was just as accommodating as he was. If you are ever in the Toronto area, in my book, Luis is THE guy to go to for hair color! I love love love Canada and feel so blessed to have met Luis and worked in his salon!!! He so kindly provided the support and environment for me and my team to do some great work and I will definitely be adding Toronto to my out-of-town schedule.
